Below is a lovely review  by Claire Clarke who was in our salon yesterday!  Claire is our cover girl for this post so that you can admire her lovely new style!

On Monday 5 th September we hosted another  Schwarzkopf Academy session.

We were pleased to welcome award winning hairdresser Phillip Bell who won the lifetime achievement award at the Scottish Hair and Beauty awards the night before he jetted over to us.

Over the next few months we will be introducing you to all of the staff in Belfast Central Training.

What is your name? – Lauren Hamilton

What is your job in BCT?  – Essential Skills Tutor

How long have you worked at BCT? – 1 year

On Monday 6th June we invited some members of the Neptune’s Special Olympics Club in for some “me” time!

We know what amazing work these people do so we thought they deserved a treat and brought them to our salon.

This week Chara from GLOW in working with some of our students.  This was a taster session for the girls to see if they would like to continue on to a longer programme with them focussing on self esteem, self confidence, life goals and so much more!!

We are very pleased to say that we are this years Schwarzkopf Academy.  This is a fantastic opportunity for our hairdressing department.

Some of the best hairdressers will be coming to The Salon @ BCT to share their knowledge and experience.

Hi everyone! My name is Joleen McQuillan and I started Belfast Central Training in September 2014 as a Level 2 Hairdressing student.

Every year a Belfast Central Training we like to raise some money for charity.  We have chosen Lighthouse the suicide prevention charity to support for all of the fabulous work that they do.  For the past 3 months we have had a session on Monday afternoons with our students lead by Gary from Ligh

We want to raise your awareness to World Mental Health Day on 10 October.  We want to do this because we know how many people this affects.   We work hard at Belfast Central Training to ensure all of our students are given help and support whatever they are going through.
