All of the staff at Belfast Central Training would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Here are some more of our new students from September telling you a bit about themselves and how they are getting on at BCT!

First up………

We want to raise your awareness to World Mental Health Day on 10 October.  We want to do this because we know how many people this affects.   We work hard at Belfast Central Training to ensure all of our students are given help and support whatever they are going through.

We love Christmas at Belfast Central Training!!

The Christmas tree is always up nice and early, festive tunes in the background and most of the staff can be found eating Mince Pies from mid September!

We asked some of our new students to tell us a bit about themselves.

First up –

Name: Shannon McKibbin

Our Training for Success students have to work towards Personal & Social Skills as part of their programme during their time in Belfast Central Training.

To being the course they have been looking at teamwork.  What does it take to work well together as a team?

What is your job in BCT?  – Essential Skills Tutor

How long have you worked at BCT? – 1 year

This week Chara from GLOW in working with some of our students.  This was a taster session for the girls to see if they would like to continue on to a longer programme with them focussing on self esteem, self confidence, life goals and so much more!!

Every year a Belfast Central Training we like to raise some money for charity.  We have chosen Lighthouse the suicide prevention charity to support for all of the fabulous work that they do.  For the past 3 months we have had a session on Monday afternoons with our students lead by Gary from Ligh
