Administrative Assistant.

We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who is familiar with a variety of software programs and who has the ability to take initiative without being monitored. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for updating digital documents and spreadsheets, scheduling appointments and attending meetings with management. Our firm has a strong history of developing friendly, easygoing and communicative partnerships with our employees, so we're on the lookout for an eloquent candidate to help our firm build on our reputation of excellence.

While this position is based in Belfast, travel throughout Northern Ireland may be necessary, therefore a full clean driving license and access to a car is essential.

The main purpose of this role is to provide support for the Administration Team and will include the following duties –

  • · Answering and directing incoming calls, handling queries, greeting and assisting visitors.
  • · Conduct a variety of administration tasks.
  • · Operating and maintaining Management Systems
  • · Invigilating exams
  • · Provide admin support to other departments by responding to requests and queries.

Essential Criteria –

  • · At least 1 years’ experience in an administration role.
  • · Grade C or above in English & Maths (or equivalents)
  • · ICT skills consisting of a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • · The ability to work as a part of a team.
  • · Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • · High level of attention to detail
  • · Motivated team player and ability to take initiative
  • · Ability to adhere to defined processes and standard operating procedures
  • · The ability to use initiative.
  • · Willingness to carry out instruction.
  • · Full clean driving license.

  • Work from home on a Friday

ICT Tutor

We currently have an opening for an Essential Skills ICT Tutor to join our team. While this position will be based in Belfast there will be travel required throughout Northern Ireland, therefore a full clean driving license is required.

The main purpose of the role is to develop the necessary competence of learners through high-quality provision of learning; in line with current Awarding Body and Operational Guidelines.

The successful candidate will be delivering Essential Skills ICT and Vocational IT qualifications (up to Level 2) to young people and adults.

As a Tutor you will be responsible for supporting learners to develop the necessary skills and dispositions to secure and sustain work placement, progression to employment, and/or Further Education. You will further ensure that trainees' competencies are assessed in accordance with Awarding Body standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for IT, and the motivation and commitment to help our learners succeed in their programme of study. Preferably, they will have good mentoring skills and sound knowledge of working with awarding bodies and delivering NVQ qualifications.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A Degree in ICT (or a degree of which ICT forms a minimum of 50% of the subject studied, please see link below for more information)
  • Minimum of a Level 2 / GCSE English and Maths qualification or equivalent.
  • Achievement of Level 4 Certificate in Teaching or equivalent (or willing to work towards)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills. Full clean driving license

Qualifications & Experience –

  • Level 2 /GCSE English and Maths qualification (Grade A-C)
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in the chosen vocational area (or working towards) Minimum of 1 years industry experience in the chosen vocational area
  • Teaching Degree (minimum Certificate in Teaching qualification) or willing to work towards once in post
